how do u feel when u go to a high class party?

i mean.. how do u feel when u go to a godly high class party(invited by some1) with a lot of beautiful people but ur real life is a very poor and miserable and u pratically u have no social life bc u r just too poor and worried about ur survival and needs.(*i live in brazil – here $usd230/monthly is normal and not considered misery)

so….
can u hold confident?
can u act like ur life were good like theirs. i saw is Very easy to them(rich ppl) and they do that naturally.
can u start a conversation with a randon girl around?

my experience… i do tried but its very hard to act like that when ur life is like mine. although i couldn’t get even close to the rich guys, they look good, act natural and pass a good message, their life is great of course, they have minimal complains and i confess i feel very jealous of them too.

so tell me how would feel and act? ty in advance.

Uncomfortable and worried I’ll pick up the wrong fork or something. I just watched and followed their lead.

I tried to fit in but the truth is….if someone wants to judge me based on what clothes I have on or if I picked up the wrong fork…..well….I’m wasting alot of time and effort on people I wouldn’t really want in my life anyway. I found out though that alot were just as uncomfortable as me and were relieved when someone made the first mistake because the ice was broken and people could be themselves. Ever watch the movie Titanic? Nice scene when the poor guy had to dine with the rich……..there really were very few who judged him and the ones who did weren’t worth impressing anyway. Be yourself……it’s the best thing to do. Don’t feel comfortable talking about yourself….don’t….guide the questions back to them. It’s an evening of small talk and niceties….not a confessional.
