Please help me with this final survival of the 80 early – mid 90's movie …?

I saw this movie on HBO many times history going to where a child was in a sea plane that crashed in the desert … The pilot died and he needs to survive. Then go to a brown grizzly bear then follows as the bear was doing to survive and eventually kills the bear in the end and that was saved by his father (as I remember).
