Beyond Survival
Will God approve if we proceed to grow a neanderthal from recently recovered DNA for its genome?
Neanderthals aren’t currently living today (though some fast food and DMV customers and employees might disagree).
Clearly, for some reason beyond our knowledge, God decided that neanderthal wasn’t suited to survival and thus was plucked by heavenly lifeguards from the gene pool.
If we do manage to recreate a neanderthal from DNA, since a first “draft” of its complete genome has recently been reconstructed, will God approve? Or, will the scientists and all life on earth be smited for their initiative?

Only if God is nostalgic.
But we already know how jealous God is. So cloning a neanderthal just might irk God’s famous, world-class vengeance.
Awww . . . what the heck. Go ahead. What’s God going to do . . . wipe out life with a catastrophic flood?
