Hello, I had this science that culminates and I had to calculate the survival rate for differenct people with cancer cancer rates – 19,600 Mortality rate (after 5 years) – 16,600 Survival Rate – The death rate of 15% shown after 5 years! How did we get to 15%? I did, but I'm really scared! Please help …. Um how was the rest did the cancer rate and the mortality rate = 3000 Then I divided 3000 by 1000 cuz the values were in thousands = 3 Then multiply the result by 5 (becuz after 5 years) = 15% Please give your opinion!

I did it a little differently, but I still have the same answer. I started the same way you did and subtracted mortality rate of cancer. Then divide the result by the rate of cancer (3000 survived the total was 19,600) and amounts to 15% too. So congratulations. Good job!
