What are some survival tips for a small town girl in the big city?
I traveled to Boston yesterday for Black Friday to get some shopping done, and was horrified! There were bums everywhere begging for change, the food was overpriced, the local restaurants had rude service people, and I couldn’t walk down the street at night without cab drivers whistling and hearing people’s begging cups being jangled with change.
Not anything like the small town here right on the Atlantic with the vast green fields and where the best place to eat is Harry’s Deli lol 
Seeing as I am horribly unaccustomed to the city, what are some good survival tips for me?

be yourself, be mindful of the surroundings and other people, and
watch the places you are going and stay indoors during late night
or get some companion when you go out at night.
