Home Survival Guide

"The Survival Guide foreclosure: Keep your home or leave with money in your pocket" by attorney Stephen Elias, author of "How file the Chapter 7 bankruptcy is if nothing else, very timely. Sadly so, the increase in foreclosures last year makes a book like this most welcome for many people going through foreclosure, or for that terrible fear looms fly.
In these uncertain times, with more performances than ever before, a book like this will be useful for many people. If you have received a formal notification of execution mortgage, or are threatened with foreclosure, this book guides you through the process and options. If you just want to know more about foreclosures, this is a very easy manual on the subject.
Although the book is written by a lawyer, is written for the layman to understand easily foreclosures and options. It begins with an overview of what to expect and then proceeds to the nuts and bolts of mortgage foreclosures.
From there, the book examines emotional aspects of having your house foreclosed upon, and if it makes sense to try to keep your house or not. There is a chapter in the negotiation of a workout, and chapters on how Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy can delay or stop your foreclosure. Elijah includes a chapter in the fight against foreclosures in court, and what you can do when you decide to stop the foreclosure proceeding and leave home. There's even a brief chapter on how long can stay in your home for free. As the title of this book suggests, is for the homeowner facing foreclosure, not the bank. It is suggested that the money you save by being at home for free can be the beginning of money is necessary to find another home.
There are a number of resource pages that can help during or prior foreclosures. It's also good that the points of Elijah some of the scams that go on and how certain "foreclosure rescue mortgage "scam companies will only seek and take what little money they have.
The book concludes with a glossary of terms related to the executions decent mortgage and a brief description of each of the 50 laws of the state in foreclosures. This brief summary of the laws is sufficient for the reader pointed in the direction correct when researching the laws governing property excluded.
If you know nothing about foreclosure and wishes for any reason you want that information, you may be facing foreclosure in the near future, or facing one now, this book is a first major on the subject. Although not practice in the areas of foreclosure or bankruptcy, this book provided me with additional information to the field calls sometimes from people who need more information on these issues.
I wish I had so many people that need this book.
