How different is the prognosis for Hodgkins Lymphoma from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma?

From what I understand Non Hodgkins is extremely treatable, correct? And it has like the highest rate of survival of any cancer? What about Hodgkins Lymphoma? My friend was diagnosed with it this summer but I think the stuff I read about the prognosis is about Non-Hodgkins and I’ve been confusing myself about them. Does she have the same chances? She never talks about it but I know she does have Hodgkins, that much I know for sure. I’m at college now and don’t see her every day but she seems to be doing good. She goes in for chemo at the hospital twice a month and takes pills for it everyday. She hasn’t lost that much hair, Idk if that means she’s doing better than most ppl with cancer? She had mono for like 2 months when she was 14, does that make a difference in well she’ll do to beat this thing? So does she still have the same like 90+% chance of recovery like people with the non type do? She’s 17. She also has hyperthyroidism. Idk if that makes a difference either. Does it?

hmmm, i’m studying radiation therapy and i don’t have my Washington/Leaver text right now, but i think it’s easier to treat hodkins lymphoma for the fact that it spreads in a predictable manner. no matter who gets it male or female, young or old (hodgkins usually occurs in younger ppl) the disease spreads to the same lymph nodes. non hodgkins can spread anywhere in the body and usually occurs in older ppl (who are more frail and less able to tolerate the treatments for cancer).
i’m almost 100% sure that Hodgkins Lymphoma has a better prognosis (in general) than NHL
