Survival 28 Weeks
Is it possible for me to carry to full term?
I am 28 weeks pregnant… went to my appointment a week ago. She sent me to Labor & Delivery because I was having some leaking and I was not quite sure what it was. I am dilated 3-4cm… 80% effaced… my bag is bulged… the membranes close to the cervix opening… and the Baby is already head down. I was having contractions… but they gave me medication to stop those… and they are saying that I have not changed… which is good. I am still in the hospital and they are looking at keeping me here for a while. I am scared for the survival of my child. How many out there have experienced this and carried for at least 2 more months? Is it possible that I can carry my son to full term?
they may put u on bed rest and give u meds to stop labor. Im 27wks and been having problems already too but im not leaking anything…did they say if it was amniotic or pee? if its amnotic fluid it isnt too good but if it isnt do exactly what ur ob says bc each day ur angel stays in is better for him. he is most likely going to survive anyways if he is born but will need to stay in NICU(spelling?) for a while before being able to go home. Good luck and take care of urself and ur boy….
