Anna Nicole Smith: Why Do You Think Some People Looked-up to Her?

I personally think its because she gave people who thought they were losers/failures hope that they could still make something of themselves. When some people claim her as a role model, I think this is what they mean. I personally think its rude to shun her after death, because celebrities aren’t perfect in the first place. All celebrities have some bad in them even if its not outed.
Anna Nicole was not born rich, Paris Hilton was. Anna Nicole did what she could to survive so young and her lifestyle is all she truly knew. Paris Hilton’s parents were far from less than middle class. Paris was born and grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth (charm school, private school, ballet, etc). In other words, Paris has done similar stuff and never really had to. Anna did it for survival and didn’t have anyone to teach her better. If Paris died tomorrow, she’d probably get a GRAND tribute. Its all about money and background. If your family isn’t rich, its almost like you were a nobody.

I agree with you….especially on this comparison…
Anna Nicole did not see many options to change her fate…she took the ones that worked and then clung to them….paris, on the other hand, had everything laid out for her and all sorts of options…she choose the low road…I don’t look up to either, however if I had to choose between the 2 I would say Anna Nicole is better role model…
