Survival Course New York

Could he live in New York?
I'm currently a cosmetology student, so of course, I'll probably be working as stylist. My idea of an average apartment is basically something not too small but not too big .. an apartment for one person. I'm not much of a go-out-clubbing person, so it's likely to save much money on it. Fast food does not tempt me, but sometimes books and clothes .. haha. I am thinking of extending my education on the picture to my education is most likely that New York Institute of Photography. Anyway, I was wondering if there is any chance of survival for me in New York. Any answers are appreciated.:) I have checked with NYIP and the total cost would be $ 998 for everything. I do not mind living in a small apartment, I feel comfortable.
If you work in a very good living, and if you have some money in your account to tide you over on a rainy day, you should be well … no problem, especially with good prospects (more education, second career)
