We in America do not worry about life surivial or have enough food. We have so many choices in the supermarket that is beyond imagination that food should not be there. Although there are several right here in the United States to retreat to bed hungry steadily, the deficit some food that have caused riots in other states have so far escaped to the United States. It is foolish to think they are immune forever, and it may be time to start learning some basic skills of survival.

Wendell Berry argues in his book "The Disturbing, 31 of America 'for years that the food was too important to be used as a weapon. People know that the idea 30 years ago because – We have food on the shelves of supermarkets and can not be that bad.

Society blind eye, as milk producers tried to cling to the flocks of a couple of hundred cows and maintain their lifestyle. Looked away again when small pig farmers pigs were buried under 9 percent, pennywise the ham meant only brought double what the cost of whole pig. Some pig farmers gave away and it would cost to sell or keep them.

This will eliminate many alternatives for our food. While we now see that the people of the oil it can, the will, not to dictate the price people do not see the neon sign that our food supply is in the same situation. In fact, customers are mostly so alien to continue to buy what they cost, cash generation for the handful of business entities that hold most of our survival food storage.

As one of the largest processors of oilseeds, ADM produces powder and soy flour for human consumption and animal use. Extracted from crude oil that is used not only for edible oils, vegetable oils and lecithin, but also for the oil industry, biodiesel, and polymers.

Cargill – enjoying record profits – has his hands in baked products, cereals, drinks alcohol to soft drinks to fruit, sweets and chocolates, dairy products, health and ecological (that sports drinks, vitamins), beef and poultry, pharmaceuticals, prepared foods (condiments, jams, side and main dish, mixes, creams, sauces and more) and break down food. You see'Cargill ' in grocery stores openly labeled as you will not see most other players, but Es there and much of what they eat comes from.

Note security when it comes to maintaining the unparalleled benefits that take into consideration before they are too poor to buy food. Farmers cotton in India, driven by the Monsanto cotton, have committed suicide at the prospect of losing their livelihoods, and farmers in many other states do not even have as neighbors. If it comes to their finances or yours – they will take precedence. Monsanto and Cargill each own 50% of a company which sells genetically modified foods worldwide.
