Most people have at one time or another considered the popular Discovery Channel Man vs. Wild TV show. Adventurer Bear Grylls is that once hardened served in the British Army Special Air Service, where he received instruction in the field of survival expert. Among his experiences climbing catalogs Everest, a journey through the North Atlantic Ocean during freezing weather in nothing but a small boat and rock climbing on a Himalayan peak, which was described by Sir Edmund Hillary to climb as unreachable. Bear has been involved in numerous situations and performed many feats that most of us overcome our attempts.

In each episode of his television program Bear demonstrates how to survive in the desert many destinations where the common man or women can be involved in a dangerous situation. During their 30 minutes show that describes various ways to survive these situations as it makes its way back to civilization world. Previous episodes have shown Bear as certain death to escape quicksand in the Moab desert, he views his way of navigating a river of dangerous jungle in Costa Rica, crossing ravines successfully while trekking through the Alps and even survive shark-infested waters off the state of Hawaii.

We must bear in mind that Bear Grylls and his team receive the support life possible when participating in the life of these potentially dangerous situations. If a problem development of a helicopter is not too far from the injured person to the nearest medical facility. This is a luxury that the person involved in a situation has no real survival.

Several months ago I was watching television at Bear bloopers and discovered several errors in his logic. I realized that Man vs. Wild was just a show created for entertainment and various survival techniques demonstrated ever be taken seriously and was based on advice Sound survival.

During a show at Bear was shown by parachuting in Siberia, as temperatures approached -20 degrees Celsius to the ground. It was supposed to land hundreds of miles from any town and settlement. After having walked half an hour just suddenly found a cave I could stay and keep warm. At the entrance to the Cave Bear discovered a dead deer he claimed had been shot. Now, the fallacy here is that we have a man that is hundreds of miles from civilization with a dead deer beside him he says he was fired. No person in the area, but this shot dead deer. In addition, the deer was still warm as he stressed that he had to get out of deer skin before it froze.

Later in the same show that bravely jumped into a frozen lake near these temperatures while the mark hovered around -20 degrees without clothing. Its purpose was to demonstrate how scary it could be under the ice. If someone pull this trick as Bear did when they were alone, it is likely that he would die soon. In conclusion, I would recommend viewers take many of his exploits with a grain of salt and research of each of its care techniques.
