Darkfall is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Aventurine SA that combines real-time action and strategy in a fantasy setting. The game features unrestricted PvP, full looting, a huge, dynamic game world, and a player skill dependent combat system free of the class and level systems that typify most MMORPGs.

1.uFF0E Bank your gold often. In DarkFall Online, darkfall items in your bank can not be looted by others, (unlike items you carry on your person). The banks in Darkfall Online are located in cities and can hold an unlimited amount of gold.

2.uFF0E Manage your carrying capacity by making sure to visit a town as often as possible. You will gather gold in DarkFall more quickly if you are able to carry more items back to town with each trip. (Remember that darkfall gold in DarkFall Online has weight!)

3.uFF0E During early leveling, don’t wander too far from town. If you kill on the way out, stop when you are at about half capacity; if you also kill on your way back, then you should be nearly full capacity when you reach town, thus maximizing your gathering speed for gold.

5.uFF0E Carry a backup set of equipment. Although this will cost a little extra gold during your leveling process, it will grant you the ability to maintain efficiency in the event of a loss. E.g. if you are attacked, you will have enough equipment to get right back in the game. (Playing Darkfall Online naked is nearly impossible! So you should always have reserve equipment or gold.)

6.uFF0E Be mindful of investment of gold while leveling: Full plate armor is effective, but expensive for low level characters. When you achieve higher levels, you will be able to wear armor of similar quality for a fraction of the gold cost.

7.uFF0E Avoid going below half stamina; low stamina makes you an attractive target. A quick way to get gold in Darkfall Online is to ‘poach’ low level characters and then take their gear. The most likely time to be attacked if is you are at low stamina.

8.uFF0E Although it may be attractive to engage a group of monsters at once in Darkfall, you will suffer more overall damage than if you had killed them independently. The reason is that you can only damage one target at a time. Fighting monsters one on one is the fastest way to build up your gold reserves.

9.uFF0E Always carry adequate food in your backpack and eat before every encounter; Eating food and drink restores energy and improves your regeneration rate.

10.uFF0E If all else fails, RUN! In DarkFall Online, characters and monsters run at the same speed regardless of level of equipment. Live today, fight tomorrow!
