As owner a home should expect a certain amount of disruption of its housing so that the improvement will be done in the most professional manner. To paint an entire room furniture no matter how big or small should be removed from the walls. Ropes, cables and curtains, etc. must come down until the project is complete. This is an awkward situation for the homeowner (s), but it certainly offers the contractor to perform professional work.
"Dust" can be a great challenge for contractor and owner (s). If a contractor has been patched and taped a hole or structural crack requires sanding. If the contents of the rooms are not well covered and routes of entry to other rooms, there will be a "dust storm" which takes a long time for the cleaning contractor and an unprofessional situation that occurred in the first place. The owner (s) must ensure that the contractor takes all necessary precautions to protect valuables owners from start to finish.
How the cheaper price for the homeowner is usually not a wise decision. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is true. If a contractor feels that he or she is not getting the money they deserve to be corners cut in its workforce and materials. Using better quality paints and materials must be contained in the beginning. This ensures that the contractor does not use commercial grade paint that the owner (s) expect that the quality of brand.
