Since some cats I had owned long ago, I thought I knew a thing or two about them. Although "The lover of survival Cat's Guide "is directed toward first time cat owners, who are still quite a few suggestions that were new to me. Among these, my favorite is the tip on page 17: "How to: Make a Cat Shirt Bed.Â" I also had no idea that cats can have grain at any age.

After a personal story with her cats in the introduction, Karen Cummings, writer, methodically sets out to inform its readers about the care of the cat.

In cleaning tips, addresses all cleaning, cleaning after the cats to keep things clean for kittens. Tips for cost savings and safety advice are written with great care, putting the welfare of the cats first.

The final two sections are titled  "Helpful Hints Disabilities cats" and "Helpful Hints Cat owners with Disabilities. "These two sections are entirely alien to me, with the exception of part of aging cats.

At the end of book, two pages is a brief list of sources of supply for pets, some of which are on the Internet. The sources for additional reading are also linked in each section.

 "Survival Guidée Cat Lover" presents his material directly, without detours or filling their pages with stories cat. The information is well organized, sectioned, and cartoons throughout, making the book an excellent reference material for any cat owner.

The book is pleasing to the eye with intercropping, funny cartoon-like drawings, and the font is large and clear enough for most people to read. Language the book is clear and direct. As an example, here is an excerpt from the section Preparation Tips: preparation tools a "store of your taste in a bag plastic with some loose catnip for the period of preparation appealing. "
