Survival Stores In Colorado

survival stores in colorado
I have a question for those who live in Denver, Colorado …?

My friend is moving to Denver, Colorado from Los Angeles. I want to make it a "Colorado Survival Kit "(not that there's nothing wrong with Colorado, but I'm sure it will be difficult for any of adaptation). I need ideas. I'm knitting a scraf. So … What kind of shops are popular there, or special for the region? What is a popular food in Denver? What is the region? Note Los Angeles is really different from Colorado (I guess), so sometimes the simplest things can help!

LOL – there are so many stereotypes and misinformed ideas about what it means to live in Colorado, but I can assure you and your friend is not so different! And in general, the differences will be more of an advantage! For example, traffic here is nothing like LA – you can actually 30 kilometers in the center of the city in less than an hour! Rush hour is a couple of hours in the morning and at night, not all day! Public transport is improving rapidly, with a light rail system and express and local buses good. We have all the chain stores and restaurants same as they do in California, I promise! And a lot of them! We have plenty of Mexican restaurants, but that is not uncommon for your friend. There are plenty meat restaurant very well, because the state is famous for breeding. Apart from that, we have many Italian, sushi, gourmet and mom and pops restaurants you would find anywhere. The climate is exceptional here – in the winter covered in snow is really very unusual. Summers are hot, but dry and sunny winters usually and soft. She does not need the scarf is knitting! A great gift would be some force-extra skin lotion. The dry weather is not pleasant to the skin and you really have to work in the maintenance of skin from drying out and make it look like a witch grass "(as my sister so delicately puts it!) of Denver and Colorado have leisure activities Outdoor exceptional – lots of urban bike and hiking trails, hiking and snowshoeing in the mountains, not to mention skiing. Maybe a book on Colorado hiking, etc. can be found on Amazon.com would be nice. Your friend is a very friendly, open city with nice people and beautiful scenery – I can not imagine not going to like it here!
