Swine Flu Survival Rates

That one cat that got H1N1…..?

A cat got swine flu from her owners and had to be treated for the H1N1 last week. They said she survived but what are the survival rates for cats?

I heard about that cat last week and I was shocked. Up until then, it was thought that the virus wouldn’t affect species other than humans.

Anyway, since only one cat so far has gotten it (that we know of) and that cat survived and is fine now, the survival rate is 100 percent. Of course, if more cats get it and some die, the survival rate will change based on the percentage of cats that die. But let’s hope that doesn’t happen!
