Sometimes, survival is victory

I recently hit the wall of my first great since I got serious about developing my business on the Web at March. My day job took over my life again. If you are in high technology or know someone who is, you'll understand. I am a software engineer High-level dev advantage, therefore, I really have to lead by example and try to do a superlative job, or as near as I can handle it. As you can imagine, progress in my online marketing business stagnated somewhat. This is incredibly frustrating in many respects, but I would encourage you, gentle reader, as well as myself. In particular, there are lessons to learn from a season like this.

1. Be patient. Patience is a virtue, for many reasons, not least of which is that it is a requirement Prior to perseverance. When we are impatient, we get frustrated and start thinking negatively. It takes time to start believing that a temporary pause in our business progress Construction, however, a permanent stoppage. That is not permanent, if it becomes permanent.

Thomas Edison said, "Many of the failures of the life are the people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. "

You may be closer to his goal than ever imagine. I heard Gary Halbert quoted to have said, "You're just one sales letter away from success."

2. Be gentle with yourself.

This is important. Pat yourself on the back for what they succeeded, even if only survived. Because I do not get what I expected, I felt like the whole month of May was a loss. But eventually I forced myself to really think about everything that happened: I stood some incredible family difficulties, has the house ready to sell, did a solid job in my day job, debugging a new service I'm offering for free to build my email list (CB Product Alert) and even send a short newsletter.

It was like I was hit in a record, and it's likely that you're more discouraged, is partly because you're just tired. Get a good night's sleep and start fresh tomorrow. But do not give up!

Oh, I did something more in this month I survived.

Did you know that counts the survival of something? It may seem obvious, but the simple fact is both deep and no one became successful at something for leaving smoking. Perseverance is required to travel the road to success.

That does not mean we do not analyze our activities and unsuccessful efforts to follow blindly. On the contrary, I am focusing more on the work as intelligently as possible. It will not be stopped by a bad month.

Here is a little gem last one: Did you know that, on equal terms, search engines reward sites with older slightly higher range? That being the case, the mere fact survive the media next month will probably be a little better, and that after, even better.

I can hardly wait.
